Ross specialises in taxation, audit and management consultancy. His experience has been developed over 30 years employed within the accountancy profession commencing with Grant Thornton and continuing with Coopers and Lybrand (now Pricewaterhousecoopers).

Ross's extensive experience in taxation covers both direct and indirect taxation areas and consults to large and small family businesses ranging from manufacturing to service industries. He also has outside business interests including a Hunter Valley Vineyard and a Litigation Funding Business which adds unique insights to his services as a management consultant.

Ross was admitted as a partner in 1988 and currently holds the position as Managing Director. In addition, Ross is Managing Director of subsidiary operation, Minett & Partners Financial Services Pty Limited, which specialises in finance broking and strategic planning.
